The Metropolitan Police have started a Web site offering the neighborhood maps in an effort to improve public safety and fulfill a pledge by Mayor Boris Johnson.
Staff Reporter LAPLACE The St. John Council has voted unanimously to reject advisory base flood elevation maps from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) with the hope of getting approval of updated maps used by insurance companies for flood insurance premiums.
Maps showing the numbers of muggings, burglaries and vehicle break-ins across London are made available online.
At the end of July Google Maps introduced an updated design and some new features. But it also removed some features, including the ability to drag and reorder destinations (e.g., for a multi-city trip). That capability is now back, according to SERountable .
